Paul is an experienced commercial executive, having spent 20 years working on a variety of projects in sectors as diverse as media, NGO third sector, social enterprise, climate change, and renewable energy.
He has been a visiting lecturer at London Metropolitan University and Birkbeck College, London University.
He has acted as a client consultant for blue chip organisations with respect to climate change mitigation, energy efficiency and greenhouse gas emission reduction protocols, as well as the same for the development of renewable energy in the UK and Africa.
With a strategic focus on developing markets, notably Africa, he has also originated a number of climate focused and renewable energy development projects in Nigeria, Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda and Kenya and has secured in excess of $60m of conditional project equity funding.
His experience covers project origination , development, local stake holder engagement, project structuring, contract modeling and project management.
Paul maintains strong relationships with many commercial players and DFI ( Donor Finance Initiatives ) stake holders in the renewable energy industry.
A graduate of Durham University, Paul has lived in South East Asia and the UK and is now looking forward to developing our projects and programmes in the energy sector in Malawi, with the support of the Malawi Energy Minister - the Hon. B. Masaka.
